A. Individual Review Worksheet
Objective: Reinforce and integrate all unit vocabulary and grammar in a Jamaican‑culture context.
Instructions:
- Vocabulary Matching (Reading): Match 10 key terms (e.g., reggae, patois, jerk chicken) to their definitions or images.
- Grammar Fill‑in‑the‑Blanks (Writing): Complete 8 sentences about Jamaica, choosing the correct:
- Present Simple vs. Present Continuous
- Comparative/Superlative
- Connector (because, however, in addition)
- Question or Negative form
- Compound or Complex construction
3. Short Passage & Questions (Reading): Read a 100‑word text on a Jamaican festival, then answer five comprehension questions (T/F and multiple‑choice).
4. Listening Exercise (Listening): Listen to a 60-second audio on Jamaican food. Fill in the missing words and answer two true/false items.
5. Micro‑Speaking Prompt (Speaking): Using what you wrote, record a 30-second audio describing your favorite Jamaican dish, using at least two vocabulary words and one grammar structure. We recommend using the Vocaroo recording tool to record your voice and paste the link into the deliverable.

Objective: Summative check of reading, listening, grammar, writing, and speaking.
Format & Steps:
- Reading Section (4 Qs): Multiple‑choice on a short text about Jamaican customs.
- Listening Section (3 Qs): Fill‑in‑the‑blanks and T/F on a 90‑sec clip about music.
- Grammar Section (4 Qs): Identify/correct errors in PS vs. PC, comparatives, connectors, questions/negatives.
- Writing Section (1 Q): Write 2 sentences comparing Jamaican vs. Colombian culture, using a comparative and a connector.
- Speaking Section (1 Task): Record a 20‑sec answer to "Why is learning hidden cultural elements important?" using present continuous and one vocabulary word.

Objective: Reflect on what you learned and how you felt about the unit in writing.
Instructions
- Create a new post in the "Exit Ticket" column.
- Write a 100–150 word paragraph in English:
- Summarize what you learned about Jamaican culture.
- Describe how you found the unit (e.g., fun, challenging).
- Use at least five vocabulary words and two grammar structures (comparative, connector, PC, etc.).
